A day before the protest, Dipke released a video message and a public poster asking supporters not to gather directly at Jantar Mantar. Instead, participants have been asked to first reach Parliament Street Police Station at 9:00 AM, from where they plan to seek official permission for the protest before moving towards Jantar Mantar.

In a post shared on social media on June 5, the organization called on supporters to join what it described as a peaceful demonstration demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over issues related to NEET UG 2026, CBSE, and CUET.

Sonam Wangchuk Expected to Receive Dipke

According to statements shared by CJP supporters online, social activist Sonam Wangchuk is expected to reach Delhi Airport to receive Abhijeet Dipke after his arrival. The plan, as communicated publicly by the organization, is for both of them to travel towards Parliament Street Police Station before any further decision regarding the protest venue is taken.

However, no official confirmation regarding the final route or schedule has been issued by the Delhi administration.

Heavy Police Presence Reported Near Jantar Mantar

Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media and reports shared by local journalists indicate that security arrangements have already been tightened around Jantar Mantar.

Several barricades have reportedly been installed in and around the area, while a large number of police vehicles and personnel can be seen deployed at multiple locations. The arrangements suggest that authorities are preparing for the possibility of a large gathering later in the day.

Despite the visible security presence, neither Delhi Police nor the administration has issued any detailed public statement so far regarding today’s proposed protest.

CJP Releases Final Protest Call Ahead of June 6 Gathering

A day before the proposed protest, Abhijeet Dipke and CJP supporters shared a final public appeal on social media. Supporters were asked to reach Parliament Street Police Station at 9:00 AM and follow peaceful and disciplined methods during the gathering.

The poster shared by the organization instructed participants to carry the national flag, keep their phones recording, cooperate with police authorities, stay hydrated, and avoid engaging with trolls or provocateurs. Supporters were also advised not to throw flowers at police personnel and to keep the protest peaceful and constitutional.

Delhi High Court Petition Also in Focus

The protest comes a day after a petition related to the proposed gathering was mentioned before the Delhi High Court. According to court reports, the plea sought preventive directions regarding the planned protest. However, the court did not agree to urgently list the matter.

What Happens Next?

At the time of writing, the biggest question remains whether Abhijeet Dipke will be allowed to proceed with the planned march after landing in Delhi or whether any administrative action will be taken before the protest reaches Jantar Mantar.

Another question that may be answered today is whether the massive support CJP has received on social media can translate into an equally large turnout on the ground. Until now, the movement has largely existed online. June 6 could become its first major test on the streets.
