Students waiting for the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 will have to wait a little longer. The result will not be declared today, April 30, 2026, as the copy evaluation process is still underway and has not been completed yet. This has been confirmed through official sources. The board has not announced a revised result date as of now.

Why Is CBSE 12th Result 2026 Delayed

Despite earlier expectations that the result would be declared by April 30, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not been able to finalize the result as the evaluation of answer sheets is still in progress at multiple centres. The copy evaluation for a significant number of answer scripts is pending, which means the board requires additional time before it can compile and verify the final results for over 18.5 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examination this year.

The CBSE Class 12 exams were held from February 17 to April 10, 2026. While the board had introduced the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system this year to speed up the evaluation process, the sheer volume of answer sheets across all subjects and regions means the process is taking longer than initially estimated.

According to Ramesh Yadav, an official source of CBSE, the evaluation of CBSE 12th answer sheets has not been completed yet, hence the result cannot be released today on 30th April. He did not confirm the release date.

When Will CBSE 12th Result 2026 Be Declared

As of April 30, 2026, CBSE has not announced a new date for the Class 12 result declaration. The board is expected to make an official announcement once the evaluation process is complete and results are verified. Students are advised to keep checking the official websites regularly for any fresh update from the board.

Based on the current status of the evaluation, the CBSE 12th result is now expected sometime in the first or second week of May 2026. However, no confirmed date has been announced by CBSE yet.
