Eligibility Criteria – DRDO DIPAS Internship 2026
- Students going into the final year of B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in the academic year 2026-27 are eligible.
- Students with any backlogs are NOT eligible – clean academic record is mandatory.
- Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Minimum attendance of 15 working days per month is required to be eligible for each stipend instalment.
- Candidates must be available full-time for the entire 6-month duration – part-time or remote is not allowed.

Selection Process – DRDO Internship 2026
- No written exam candidates are shortlisted purely on academic merit.
- Merit is based on aggregate percentage or CGPA scored up to the 3rd Year 1st Semester.
- If two candidates have identical marks, the older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
- Unsuccessful candidates will NOT receive any communication from DRDO only selected candidates will be informed.

- Fill in all required details: name, discipline, college/university, year-wise marks/CGPA, date of birth, and email ID.
- Attach self-attested copies of: Academic transcripts (all semesters), Bonafide certificate from college, ID proof (Aadhaar), and passport-size photograph.
- Write “Application for Paid Internship: [Discipline Name]” clearly on the top of the envelope.
