But after a long time, Toyota has resumed the bookings of the Innova Hycross in India. However, the bookings were affected to the top ZX & ZX(O) variants of the Hycross. In April 2024, Toyota had actually started accepting the bookings after a wait of almost one year. But after yet another pause, Toyota has reopened the bookings of the popular MPV. And thankfully, Toyota has not increased the pricing of these variants. So the ZX variant is priced at Rs Rs 34.25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) & the ZX(O) variant has been priced at Rs 35.02 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

So why so much demand for these two variants of the Hycross? Well, the top ZX & ZX(O) variants of the Hycross are offered with an exclusive list of features! The 7-seater MPV gained its popularity mainly because of the second row comfort which came equipped with Ottoman Seats. And this feature is only available in the higher variants of the Hycross. Other exclusive features the ZX variant gets are – 10.1-inch touchscreen system, panoramic sunroof, 6-Airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, 9-speaker JBL sound system, and more.
On the other hand, the ZX (O) variant gets all of these features along with ADAS. The ADAS features of the ZX (O) Innova Hycross includes – Rear cross-traffic alert, Automatic high beam, Blind spot monitor, Adaptive cruise control, & Lane-keep assist.
New Innova Hycross – Engine Specifications
Being top variants of the Innova Hycross, both the ZX & ZX (O) variants are offered only with hybrid powertrain options. It gets a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid engine which produces 184bhp & 188Nm of peak torque. Whereas the motor is capable of producing 206Nm of torque. This engine comes mated only with the e-CVT transmission option.
