Region-Wise Performance

The Western region recorded the highest pass percentage among all regions at 99.85 percent, followed closely by the Southern region at 99.81 percent. All regions performed strongly this year, reflecting the overall high standard maintained by ICSE schools across India.

Category-Wise Performance

  • General category students recorded a 99.26 percent pass rate
  • OBC candidates achieved 99.24 percent
  • Among students with special needs, 1,313 candidates with learning difficulties appeared, out of which 132 scored above 90 percent
  • Among visually challenged candidates, 54 students appeared and 17 secured above 90 percent

Why No Toppers List

CISCE follows a deliberate policy of not releasing merit lists or toppers rankings for either the ICSE Class 10 or the ISC Class 12 examination. The board believes that ranking students encourages unhealthy competition and puts undue pressure on young learners. Instead, the board focuses on subject-wise and regional performance data. This policy has been in place for several years now.
