UPTET Notification 2023, Paper I & II Eligibility, Fee, and Application Form: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will release the notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2023 in October 2023. The exam will be conducted in two papers: Paper I for teachers of Class 1 to 5 and Paper II for teachers of Class 6 to 8.

UPTET Eligibility 2023

To be eligible for UPTET 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Paper I: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. They must also have completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) from a recognized institution.
  • Paper II: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. They must also have completed a Bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.

UPTET Fee 2023

The application fee for UPTET 2023 is as follows:

  • General/OBC: ₹600/- for one paper and ₹1200/- for both papers
  • SC/ST/PwD: ₹400/- for one paper and ₹800/- for both papers
